The Q2C itself is compatible with the QIDI Box rather than having multi-color functionality built into the printer alone. QIDI says the Box can dry filament at up to 65°C while printing, automatically reload filament, and support up to 16 colors/materials when four QIDI Boxes are chained.

Printing Performance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The 600 mm/s headline speed puts the Q2C firmly in the high-speed category. Its CoreXY motion system, 1.5GT belts, linear X-axis rail and input shaping are designed to keep the printer stable while moving quickly.

The 600 mm/s figure is a maximum tool-head speed, rather than the speed you'll necessarily use for every model. For detailed parts, slower speeds will generally provide better surface quality.

Automatic Leveling ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the Q2C's strongest features is its hands-free load-cell leveling system.

Instead of relying on a conventional offset probe, the load cell is integrated into the print head and detects the actual contact between the nozzle and build surface. This is designed to simplify first-layer calibration and reduce manual bed-leveling work.

High-Temperature Printing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Q2C is considerably more capable than a basic PLA printer.

Its 370°C hotend, hardened-steel dual-gear extruder and enclosed construction allow it to work with demanding materials including:
