Performance & Real-World Behavior

Here’s how the saw tends to perform and what people report in actual use:

• It is generally viewed as powerful for its size, especially for light to moderate tasks. It can handle pruning, limb removal, cutting small logs or branches.

• The claimed 130 cuts of a 4×4 pine is under ideal, favorable conditions. In denser or knotty wood, or when the chain becomes dull/worn, real performance will be lower.

• Because of its weight and compact design, it’s easier to handle overhead or for extended periods (versus a large saw).

• The IPX4 splash-resistance is helpful in light moisture but protects only to a point — don’t expose to heavy rain or submersion.

• It’s optimized to work with batteries up to 5.0 Ah (i.e. it is compatible with higher capacity batteries in the EGO system)
